"Adapt to perform.Perform to win."

About Me

Hey, I’m Nate Cavicchi.  Head coach and founder of CavicchiFit.  I’m glad you found my page and hope I can help you in your journey for a healthier life.

I’ve been in the personal training and fitness industry for almost 15 years, and in that time I’ve come to see how much promise there is in this industry and unfortunately how much bull-💩 there also is.  My goal?  To help you sift through the nonsense and and help you achieve your goals!

A bit about me: I’m a life long athlete who grew up with a father who was a 3-season high school athletics coach….and I’m also kind of a giant nerd.

I love lifting weights, playing sports, surfing, snowboarding, disc golfing, and pretty much any type of athletic endeavor.   On the other side of the spectrum?  I love reading, I’m a gigantic Harry Potter fan (a “Potterhead”), I play video games when I have time, and I have a Dungeons and Dragons group I meet with regularly to play and adventure into the unknown with.

Packed in all of this I also have over a decade of training experience having worked with hundreds of clients, and extensive knowledge in the realms of fitness and nutrition (see my credentials and education below).

I specialized in helping athletes and weekend warriors optimize their performance, body composition, and energy levels.

Welcome to CavicchiFit.  Where I will help you “Adapt to Perform.  Perform to Win”.  I’m looking forward to working with you.

Let’s get started, shall we?

"I started working with Nate as a personal trainer about 5 years ago, going to him 2 - 3 times a week. had worked with personal trainers before, Nate is clearly the best I've had thus far. He takes a holistic approach, trying to understand my goals, limitations, nutrition, and physical challenges. Nate and his approach to training allowed me to become the strongest I've ever been. He always pushed me, but never too far and my confidence grew and I found myself doing things I could never do before (e.g. deadlifts with significant weight, improved running ability, etc).

The strength and cardio training paid off when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was advised by my doctors that continuing to exercise would help me through chemotherapy. Nate was so supportive during this time and modified workouts on the fly based on my strength, stamina, and need at the time. He fully understood I was immunocompromised and made accommodations at the gym to ensure my health. During and after my treatments. Nate thoughtfully designed a program to rebuild the strength that I had lost.

Additionally. Nate also began to train my husband and my pre-teen son. He helped my husband overcome arthritic knee pain and as with me creatively designed a program that would increase his strength and flexibility. Furthermore, he developed a great rapport with my son and helped him increase on confidence and strength while maintaining a fun and interactive workout environment. My family and I have gained so much over the last 5 years from Nate's in-depth knowledge and expertise. He always is willing to work around our crazy work schedule, and our 3 sessions a week are the highlight of our week because we see results, we are energized, and happier. We highly recommend Nate and are indebted to his dedication and persistence.”

"I began working Nate in 2019 and it was my first experience working with a personal trainer and coach. I initially had reservations with weight training because of a previous back injury, and surgery I had gone through. I was concerned about making sure I didn’t re-aggravate the injury and having someone who could push me but not overwhelm me. My initial goals were to just improve total body strength, and mobility in order to keep up with my son who is a high school athlete and also had a great training experience with Nate.
Nate always does a great job of adapting the training to the client at hand. He has a great sense of how hard to push someone, and I really appreciated his knowledge and focus on technique first and foremost before maxing out the weight on movements.
In my time training with Nate, I went from not being able to do any pull-ups to knocking out 10 or more at a time. I have improved my strength, mobility, and stamina; and the training sessions were a great stress relief and mental break from my very busy work schedule. I always looked forward to them even when I wasn’t feeling 100% physically.

My time with Nate was a great experience, and I only wish I had started training at an earlier age."
